Our income generally are just enough for survive

THE Subang Jaya Municipal Council ( MPSJ ) expects the residents’ dependency on public transport to increase by 5% to 30% once the LRT service is extended to the municipality ... “ We can expect less vehicles on the roads since there will be 20 stops in Subang Jaya "

Dakwat Basah! said... a tricky word to lie to all rakyat. now it's didn't called price hike anymore. it's now known as reducing the subsidies. what is the different actually. no! it's same. we still have to top up our money to buy this things. so this is price hike. please everyone, do not fooled! ..... famy/food coupon said... regarding to subsidy, this system should be revised , so that it only apply to those people in needs .  tan sri and dato'-dato' dont have to be in the same league with the poor to buy the cheaper sugar, petrol etc...etc... in fact, the subsidization of patrol , from what i think is not much helping. the poor people only have the old motorcycle, so the so-called help in subsidizing the petrol is not giving an impact. Rich people who have multiple ferrari are also enjoying the benefits of subsidy.

Around 136,000 or 92% of taxpayers who filed their income tax returns via e-filing from March 1 to 31 have received their tax refunds. Inland Revenue Board (IRB) chief executive officer Datuk Dr Mohd Shukor Mahfar said this number was out of 147,601 taxpayers who were found to be eligible for refunds. On late submission of income tax return forms, a penalty of 2% or a maximum of RM100 would be imposed for a first-time offender. “It costs us around RM7 per tax return. This amounts to RM11.9mil saved with around 1.7 million taxpayers using the e-filing system this year,” he said. Hope nobody told us later the saving is used for frivolous expenditure

Japan's new TV tower ..... To keep the structure safe during Japan's frequent earthquakes, the tower boasts a cutting-edge anti-seismic design, including pilings that fan out underground like the branches of a tree. A year ago, the tower surpassed the current television and radio transmission tower -- the 333-metre red-and-white Tokyo Tower, a symbol of Japan's post-war "economic miracle" -- as the country's tallest structure. In early 2012, after Japanese television networks switch entirely to digital transmissions, Tokyo Sky Tree will take over television broadcasts to beam signals across the city's ever-rising skyline.

8th ( Cheaper Alternative Foods ) ...... M(other D)ay 2011Malaysia Sunday

a) The Sun is so far the best newspaper for low income people . Only RM 0.30 sen ..... Some news are .... Cops uncover football betting syndicate - each player was allowed to bet up to RM 10,000 each time meaning the syndicate can collect up to RM mil daily ....
Sunshine is a 2007 British science fiction film about in 2057 , with the Earth in peril from the dying Sun ( has been " infected " with a Q-ball - a supersymmetric nucleus , left over from the Big Bang - that is disrupting the Sun's normal processes ) , the crew is sent to reignite the Sun with a massive stellar bomb . The situation compels humanity to send a spacecraft to the Sun in 2050 , however it disappears without a trace and its vital mission is never completed . Several years later , in 2057 , a second spacecraft with a new stellar bomb , the Icarus II , is dispatched in a final attempt to reignite the Sun . All hope for the future now rests on this mission ; all of Earth's fissile material having been mined for the bomb .

Just like the previous 2 years (2008) and (2009), ADUN Subang Jaya are publishing the details of our spending for RM500,000 allocation for 2010. Yes , we are also very impressed since Hannah has also upgrade from need to wait 20 seconds to NO need to wait for download . Corruption and leakages are not only affecting the government's revenue but also the nation's economic performance, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak . Examples are people avoiding paying income tax and under declaring when importing or exporting goods to pay less duties," he said .

ha ha we quite surprise no PR guy thumbs up ???? Looks like people avoiding paying income tax and under declaring when importing or exporting goods to pay less duties , not just from BN but PR also ???

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has refuted suggestions that the Chinese do not support Barisan Nasional. He said that in the 1999 general election , Barisan still managed to maintain a two-thirds majority because of strong Chinese support . Umno supreme council member Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah had also called on Barisan comrades to stop accusing those who did not vote the coalition as being ungrateful .
“ As a player in the democratic system , we must respect the voters' right to choose whichever party they prefer . “ We must accept the voters' decision with an open heart even if the result does not favour us, ” Saifuddin said . He said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had taken various new approaches to win the hearts of multi-racial Malaysians .

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has pledged to uphold the Government's promise not to censor the Internet. He added that the Government wanted to work with bloggers and establish a relationship based on mutual respect, adding that digital democracy would be promoted ..... It is important that you put forward your views so we can build a better future for our country...... RM3.38bil set aside to boost agricultural sector ... The Government will go all-out to prevent a food security crisis, which is one of the main global threats, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said.

We can reduce the effect by increasing the country's food supply,” he said during the “Farmers, Breeders and Fishermen's Assembly Day with the Prime Minister” at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang complex . The alloc ation would include padi price subsidies, fertilisers, incentives to increase padi yield , other subsidies and incentives for fishermen ... Najib said the seven ways included using technology and research to improve yields , adopting best principles , optimising land use based on maximum returns , ( profitable marketing tactics ??? ) and having a comprehensive infrastructure such as a proper irrigation system .....

e) Rising food prices are a worry for many , but for impoverished people living close to the edge , more expensive food could mean starvation . The food in our shopping trollies seems to be getting more expensive by the week ... Food Price Inflation also changes how we shop eg less DVD , more VCD . While telco promote the more you reload , the more you get for someone better income ... but for someone low income the less reload , the additional saving can used for food charges ... Meal that is very costly at restaurants ... Fastfood eg at McDonald and KFC are also not cheap . Last year we still manage every month one times in KFC , this year April 2011 is the our first time ... so food price hikes also changing eating habits

Taiping Hawkers Association chairman Tan Thian Kooi said it was unlikely that hawkers would lower their prices because suppliers were reluctant to reduce the price of ingredients . Is it true ???? And food at restaurants and hawker stalls will not be cheaper despite the price cut of consumer goods by hypermarkets .. “ It does not make sense for us to reduce the price of food at restaurants unless the petrol price is reverted to RM1.92 ,” said Malaysian Muslim Restaurant Owners Association president Jamarulkhan Kadir . Is it true ???? Then you have another Malaysian Indian Restaurant Owners Association president Datuk Ramalingam Pillai felt that the petrol price reduction did not justify restaurants charging their customers less . Anyway , thumbs up to some hawker still maintained their food prices to customer . May be they are NOT members of the above 3 association ?

Hong Leong Foundation + Jenice = Chinese School + 風雲 25th April 2011

a) The national-type school system - which provides education in vernacular languages apart from the national language -is only practised in Malaysia and not anywhere else in the region or in the world , said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.   http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/3/26/nation/20110326165422&sec=nation

He said the country's founding fathers agreed on this multi-education approach so that the different races of the nation could continue to use their mother tongue as well as practise their traditions and cultures . “ This is a unique system and only found in Malaysia, where all races are allowed to maintain their language, traditions and cultures . “ Our founding fathers had opted for integration - rather than assimilation - among the different races,” he said , when opening a new school block for SJK(C) Soon Cheng in Sungai Abong ...
Najib added that although Bahasa Malaysia is the national language, other languages have been maintained . Regarding Chinese education , Najib commended the community for making education and learning a priority and praised them for always willing to contribute to these matters .  “ Such strong commitment to education helped the community to build many Chinese schools in the country,” adding this commitment also helped Chinese Malaysians to achieve economic growth and success . Najib said besides their academic knowledge in such fields as the sciences and mathematics, the community is also known for their quest of business and entrepreneurial knowledge . “ Making education and learning the top priority is a virtue that we all acknowledge and praise. We also appreciate their roles and contributions in national growth,” said Najib , adding every race in the country has its role in the country.

b) Construction of SRJK (C) Kota Emerald on a six-acre piece of land .... Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said the school with 24 classrooms , an administration block and various facilities, including a football field , would be able to take in 1,000 pupils per session . www.starproperty.my/PropertyScene/PropertyNews/10118/0/0

“  It will cater to the growing population in Rawang,”  he said after presenting a RM3.5mil cheque on behalf of the Education Ministry to the school board . Dr Wee said Hong Leong Foundation and Hong Bee Foundation also contributed a total of RM3mil to the school building fund . “ This new school will be in addition to the 1,292 Chinese schools nationwide,” he added ...... currently Rawang has only one Chinese primary school – SRJK (C) San Yuk – which has more than 3,000 pupils and was overcrowded . Tang added that the cost of building the new school was RM6.5mil excluding the land . The land , costing RM10mil was donated by the developer of Emerald , Promakmur Development Sdn Bhd , the joint venture company between GuocoLand (Malaysia) Bhd and Hong Bee Land S.Bhd

c)  Alwi said there were 198,102 reports of MyKad losses last year, compared to 356,605 in 2009 and 359,477 in 2008 . He said those who lose their MyKad for the first time will be fined RM100 and RM200 for the second time .  The fine increases by RM100 for every subsequent loss . Effective last month, a police report is no longer required to apply for a replacement passport or MyKad . This is part of the NRD's move to cut down on red tape and costs.

Two others had between RM500,000 and RM850,000 . Mustafar said that several officers had admitted to collecting “fees” ranging from RM100 to RM500 for every Customs declaration K1 form approved . The better title for this
http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/4/7/business/8427893&sec=business should be " Chinese pharmacy employees change price tags to show the reduction in prices in a move aimed at battling inflation " China increased benchmark one-year deposit and lending rates by 25 basis points .... It is better than someone in Msia . just increase lending rates by 50 basic points last year but let one-year deposit remain the same ....

e) The Storm Warriors (simplified Chinese: 风云II; traditional Chinese: 風雲II) is a 2009 Hong Kong martial arts/wuxia film ,
produced and directed by the Pang brothers. Ekin Cheng and Aaron Kwok respectively reprise their roles as Wind and Cloud , who this time find themselves against Lord Godless (Simon Yam), a ruthless Japanese warlord bent on invading China .
A sequel to The Storm Riders was first announced in March 2008 after Universe gained rights to the Fung Wan franchise from former film distributor Golden Harvest . The Pangs aimed on creating a big-budgeted film involving visual effects and stated that The Storm Warriors would not be a direct sequel to its 1998 predecessor.
Principal photography for The Storm Warriors began in April 2008 and ended in July; filming took place in three studios located in Bangkok, Thailand . The film is notable for being the first Chinese language film shot in bluescreen .

The Storm Warriors was released theatrically in Hong Kong ( including Malaysia ) on 10 December 2009.

Actually, we can have this in Malaysia . A nuclear plant too.
The only issue, and the biggest one at that, is that the supervision/capability of the maintenance for all these plants.
Someone’s hand gets greased for approving a half-baked plan. Then people will want money for doing less.
And when less funds get channeled into maintenance, we’ll get another Chernobyl or environmental problem .

g) http://weechookeong.wordpress.com/2011/04/05/05-april-2011-sumbangan-kepada-warga-emas-oleh-poling-kong-di-wangasa-maju/  521,000 hits ++ ... It was strange that this case was never announced by BNM or reported in the press!
YB Wee have specifically asked for the name of company that was appointed by Bank Negara Malaysia to manage the printing of the paper currency. But the name of the company was purposely omitted except using the words “syarikat tersebut” with no reference to it in the any part of its reply . Why BNM was so secretive about the name of the appointed company ?  Is the appointed company indirectly or directly related to any of the BNM officers ?

Free Electricity < RM 20 = Thumbs up by Low Income Rakyat = But They Thumbs Down ( and Down again ) BNM .... 16th April 2011

a) “ We are not against the project as we want LRT in the area. We just want it to be relocated to a safer location,” said Afideen . Taman Subang Alam resident committee member Afideen Azali said the station to be built on their site will sit on Tenaga Nasional Berhad’s (TNB) Right of Way (ROW).

b) The Election Commission (EC) has identified nine state assembly constituencies as 'hot seats' during the April 16 Sarawak state election, said EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar.

The constituencies are Pantai Damai, Kota Sentosa, Batu Kawa, Kedup, Repok, Palawan, Nangka and the Balingian seat to be contested by Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.

“ The opposition can only talk and suggest this and that. The thing is they have not proven themselves, unlike the present government,” Taib said.  Minister of Public Utilities Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, who is also Second Minister of Planning and Resource Management ,  said this in response to allegations that power tariffs in the state were more expensive than in Semenanjung Malaysia.

“ The government absorbed the cost of RM 9.6 million to enable between 70,000 to 80,000 people enjoy free electricity if their consumption was RM 20 or below monthly,” he said.

c) The latest Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) report on the country credit card debt proves that the Government’s introduction of a RM50 tax for every principal card holder and a RM25 tax on a supplementary card holder has failed to reduce the population’s credit card debt in January 2010.

So the question is RM 50 credit card tax should be charged if it manage to reduce the population's credit card debt ? Most people has already cancel their stand-by ( seldom use ) 2-to-3 credit card after the tax announced . So the number of credit card in hand has reduced , not the amount of their credit card outstanding balance has reduce . Even want to tax , should based on credit limit , eg first RM 10 or FREE for first RM 5,000 credit limit , barulah second RM 50 on next RM 5,000 credit limit , dan sebagainya .

There should be a balance between rich and poor. Since the rich can show their LV bags and shoes around , where the poor usually source from pasar malam , impose tax on luxury items like designer brands.

" Tidak apa....kita boleh tax rakyat lagi sebelum PRU ".... Like I tell all my friends... " you first day living in Malaysia ah? " ... Taxing the rich too much will only drive them away and stagnant the economy ... so taxing the poor one ..... loan shark will help them with red paint - Gong Xi Fa Chai 2012 ... so advance ?

Tuan Wee Choo Keong [Wangsa Maju] ask the Minister of Finance to provide the detailed huge losses that Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) had to pay for the mistakes in printing Malaysian currencies, which has also resulted in shortage of new notes for the recent Chinese New Year, and the name of the company or agent that was appointed by BNM to arrange for the printing of our currencies by Thomas de la Rue in UK and why BNM did not make any claim for compensation from its agent?

Consumers like to purchase quality products for a fair price . Just imaging a shopping mall , shirt before discount is RM 50
but when promotion launched , why after discount 20% still more expensive than RM 50 ....because the new price before discount has been increase to RM 80 ?????

g) A check by The Star found that these advertisements on taxis would offer personal or “easy” loans. Some would even feature a chart on the repayment schedule . Taxis which carry such advertisements have been seen in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Puchong, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang. The telephone numbers provided on the advertisements are local lines. These so-called licensed moneylenders charge interest rates of 25% to 33.3% a month. And just like loan sharks, these “licensed” ones resort to intimidating tactics such as taking possession of the borrowers' bank account books or ATM cards. When the reporters asked for a RM3,000 loan, Billy said the company would only release RM2,250 while the balance would cover processing fees.
