d) GLOBALISATION involves the free flow of ideas , culture , political thought as well as goods and services . The global management consultant, in its latest study, had decided to include the level of censorship as another measure of a city's attractiveness. Censorship starts with the mental processes ; people operating in sensitive environments naturally know what to do with certain materials even before the words go on paper and someone pounces on it for deletions and omissions . In today's increasingly sophisticated age of the Internet and social media , it is quite impossible to censor anything . On the contrary, there are higher expectations for freedom of thought , speech and expression

It is these young people and their vibrance that will fill the cities of the future . They demand information at their fingertips and dislike being fooled over anything . More improvements can be made in this respect ; the rumblings of people on the ground should not be ignored as they may be harbouring questions that remain unanswered .
